A three man crew from West Sydney, Soul Benefits consists of Storme, Young Supreme and 26th Letter. Inspired by classic funk and soul music, golden-era boom bap and contemporary hip hop, Soul Benefits have earned a devoted following and praise from heavyweights in the industry. Their charismatic live show and energetic, funk-driven beats (by rapper/producer 26th Letter) make them a favourite local support for touring USA hip hop acts. They have supported Ghostface Killah, Pharoahe Monch, Rahzel, Fat Joe, Slum Village, Blackalicious, Oddisee, Naughty By Nature, Exile, DJ JS1, Scribe, P-Money, Hopsin, David Dallas, Savage, Home Brew Crew, Horsemen Family, and Deceptikonz. They have recently played Sydney Festival and Waitangi Day, and will support Pete Rock & CL Smooth at their upcoming Sydney show. Soul Benefits have released two singles through Big Village, “Step Up” in 2015 and “Rebel Music” in 2016, both from their forthcoming album, SB No BS, planned for release in late 2017.

In 2011, they were named “Group of the Year” by Star Connect Magazine and the following year performed at the NRL Grand Final to an audience of over 50,000 with Good Charlotte (USA) and The Script (UK), after winning the Mindfield Project Competition. In 2013, they performed for 20,000 people at the Samoa vs Tonga Test Match, and were asked to return for the Samoa vs Fiji Test Match in 2014. The group was also the official support act for comedy show “Casula Hahaha” by Tahir Bilgic (aka Habib from Fat Pizza).
