P.Smurf (Lorenz Prichard) is a celebrated hip hop MC and co-founder/manager of Big Village. Having established strong repute through his collaborative projects, Daily Meds, Reverse Polarities and Sketch the Rhyme, P.Smurf is currently focused on his solo act and forthcoming debut album ‘Playing The Blues’, due out April 2018. His charismatic style of socially and politically charged lyrics, delivered with ferocity and percussive flows, have earned him a loyal fanbase. In the last 5 years he has released two solo mixtapes, an EP and a 7” vinyl, while touring extensively across Australia as both a solo artist and with his respective groups. As a founding member of Daily Meds, P.Smurf was integral to their successful release, Happy Daze. The album was shortlisted in the top 9 of the 2012 Australian Music Prize and was FBi‘s Sunsets “Album of the Week”. The single “Insane” was added to Triple J high rotation and the group won Triple J Unearthed’s “Come Together” Festival in 2011.
